RAK Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Limited, a new venture of RAK group comes into being in line with the vision of diversifying its growth to serve the humanity in need of fighting back diseases to restore healthy and productive life at an affordable price, The philosophy of ‘excelling in all endeavors’ which is the key to success of RAK group, the pharmaceutical venture is being accomplished with state-of-the-art facilities in compliance with WHO and other recognized bodies and stringent guideline procedure.

In terms of manufacturing quality products RAK Pharmaceuticals is very confident to be standing out amongst all other companies operating in Bangladesh.

Total area of the premises of the manufacturing plant is around 5.4 acres and is situated in Sreepur, Gazipur that is only 42 kilometer away from its head quarters at RAK Tower, Uttara, Dhaka. Following strict cGMP & EU guideline, RAK has set up two separate and isolated manufacturing plants for cephalosporin and non-cephalosporin products which reflects both its commitment to the quality of the products and care for the health of individuals. The project is now under fast implementation, has a shaded area consist of production floors, QC/QA laboratories, RM/Finished Product ware house, utilities of around 140,000 sift., occupies both plants.

The project was conceived and initiated by its Managing Director, Mr. SAK Ekramuzzaman, a leading entrepreneur and a foremost FDI initiator to the country, along with Mr. AHM Zaker, CEO of the company, and one of the highly respected professionals in Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industry, are expecting to generate direct employment opportunities for several hundred people of the country and also create opportunities to contribute much needed foreign currency through exporting pharmaceuticals to other countries after fulfilling the home demand.
